Fall Brights: Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hello beauties!  How goes it?! Happy Friday eve!! You know how we do! We celebrate the fact that it’s almost the weekend!!! So…This month is breast cancer awareness month.  Like certain events like mother’s day or father’s day or even valentine’s day, I sometimes wonder why there has to be a day set aside.  Why shouldn’t we celebrate mothers and fathers as often as possible.  Why wait until THAT day? Same with breast cancer awareness.  If this is a cause we care about, we shouldn’t wait until breast cancer awareness month to do something, however little.  That being said though, I am all for doing whatever possible to raise awareness and funding for breast cancer research.

As a child of a parent who is feeling better after years of being diagnosed with cancer and many rounds of treatment, not to mention a colleague at work battling breast cancer, it’s not easy to watch those you care about deal with cancer.  But with faith, love, prayer and support, nothing is impossible.  Little acts such as rocking pink to show support, walking or running for the cure, making a donation…All help make a difference.  On a lighter note, check out more pics and outfit deets below.
