Fall cometh.  I smile as I type that because fall happens to be my favorite season.  It conjures up images of leather and denim jackets, light layers, boots, pretty foliage and the smell of pumpkin spice latte.

As an aside, this is one of a series of fall-themed posts you’ll see on the blog.  Today’s is showing how to transition from summer to fall/casual to workwear using the same cami tank top.

For the first look, I paired the tank with a printed pencil skirt.  Went with a pair of burgundy wedges (burgundy=Marsala family, one of the hot colors for fall) and completed the look with a gold belt and oversized bag.

This look is great for a summer day at the office.  Switch out the oversized bag for a bucket, saddle bag, or clutch and you’ve got a brunch outfit.

Look #2 simply transitions the first look from summer to fall or a more formal office look by adding a belted blazer.  Yes, I belted the blazer! Will keep reminding you that I LOVE belts.  The belt elevates the outfit and makes the blazer less boring:)

For the final variation, I paired the tank with a pair of on-trend flared jeans (by the way, loving the current 70’s trends) and completed the look with a wristlet.

Easy look for a casual outing.  Throw on a sweater or blazer + you’ve got a work-appropriate casual Friday look.  A fitted leather jacket would also look fabulous with this.  Would love to hear from you.  Are you a fan or foe of flared jeans?
