Hello beauties. Hope your week was fab and the weekend: even better! Welcome to Fall, loves. Perhaps we’ll start getting the cool weather soon. So! How many times have you heard that mess about no white after labor day??! I don’t even know why folks still reference it but it does come up. You want to know the truth about wearing white in the fall?? I’ll tell you! Who cares??! You can wear white in the Fall and even in Winter. The old rules of yesteryears past no longer apply.
In fact, I’m noticing a lot of white boots out there and if not that I’m super anal about getting them dirty, you know your girl would be out there rocking a pair of white boots lol PLUS I’m like do I want to invest in white boots that won’t get much wear?! That’s the practical voice in my head. If you see a future post where I’m rocking white boots, you’ll know I caved by buying an inexpensive pair (insert smiley face).
Ways to Wear White in the Fall
- Rock a pair of white jeans, pants or a skirt
- Add a white accessory to your outfit such as a white purse, belt or earrings
- Layer that white: Throw on a white jacket, sweater, kimono, poncho or faux fur stole
- Step out in white boots
- For cooler days, throw on a pair of white patterned tights (think leopard print, polka dots)
