Hello beauties. A very easy closet item= a pencil/tube skirt such as the floral one I’m wearing in today’s post. It’s a pull on style so it’s a great no-brainer item. Did I mention it’s great for trips and packs well?:) You can also dress up or down. I paired with a sheer coral peplum top below (white tank underneath) and completed the look with a floral tan belt and tan + orange block heels. Voila! You have a work-ready/church-appropriate outfit.
A blue top would have also worked because blue is also featured on the skirt. To dress down, lose the peplum top and wear with a plain white tank top or tee. Would also look great with a crop top. Add a chunky necklace for some character and some cute flat sandals and you’re ready for a day out with the girls.
Are you a fan of pencil skirts?
Thanks for dropping by! Don’t be a stranger. xoxo

One of my favorite looks – I love the way you pair the colors. Until recently, I didn’t feel very comfortable wearing pencil skirts. That can sometimes be hard for women with larger hips. However, the idea of a peplum top on a pencil skirt makes this a wearable look for women of all sizes and shapes. Thanks for the tips.?
Definitely! I hear you because I felt the exact same way…Self-conscious about curves in bodycon/pencil skirts. But I realized we have to work with our lovely curves just like one of my style icons=Queen Beyonce:) Pairing with a peplum top or a slim tank over a flowy top=are all great ways of rocking bodycon/pencil skirts. Looking forward to sharing some fall/winter looks as there’s a lot you can do with vests + sweaters too. Keep the comments/questions coming! Thank you
