Hello beauties. Happy Friday Eve!! This week has been a long one in spite of me having Good Friday off. Keep my dad in prayers! Lots going on on the personal front and hubby and I went to the ATL to celebrate a dear friend’s 40th! Talk about a whirlwind Easter weekend! This week has really flown by but thankful for all I’ve been able to do. SOOO this post: “an easy way to style a party dress,” features the red dress I wore to the party this past Saturday.
Love this dress because it shows off my curves and is sexy in a classy way, if you catch my drift! The shoes were super comfy so I was able to cut a rug without any issues! An aside: if you love Jamaican food and are in the ATL area, check out Negril Village ATL…We used to go to the New York location back in the day but really enjoyed the Atlanta location. Food was delish! Anyhoo! Read on for quick tips on how to style your party dress:
Easy Party Dress Styling Option:
-
Pair a red party dress with a gold belt
- Gold belt breaks up the red shoes I chose!
-
Accessorize with bold statement jewelry
- Think chunky necklace; cocktail ring; gold bracelet
-
Opt for lace up sandals: Pick a pair:
- Red (for a monochromatic look like mine)
- Blush/Rose
- Gold
- A fun print (animal, floral)
- Bright color like Blue , Pink or Yellow if you want to go with a color blocking look
-
Complete the look with a clutch
- To break up the red dress, red shoes effect, I opted for a blush clutch with gold accents
This is a super easy look to pull off! Since the cold shoulder/off-the-shoulder look not to mention ruffles, are spring/summer must-haves, check out the outfit details below and bookmark those links so you can get yours for one of those summer soirees you’re going to attend! Also great for date night! More pics + outfit details below.
Would love to hear from you! Do you have a “go-to” color for party dresses/outfits?
Thanks for dropping by, don’t be a stranger! xoxo
