Fall-Friendly Purple Print Dress

Hello beauties. Happy #Nationalcoffeeday! I’ve mentioned on here before that fall is my favorite season + pumpkin spice lattes are a fall fave of mine. Since today’s national coffee day, that will be my java choice this morning. What flavor will you be sipping on?

On to today’s outfit! Regardless of what color palette is “in style” or trendy for a particular season, you will always find me wearing some shade of purple. It happens to be my mom’s favorite color so there’s at least “something” we agree on! Purple=beautiful:)

It’s usually associated with royalty and mystery and I love the rich allure purple brings. One of the purple shades of the season via the Pantone(R) Fashion Color Report is “Amethyst Orchid,” which is more on the lighter spectrum than say, plum or eggplant. Still a very pretty color and what I love about today’s multi-colored purple print dress is that it’s an “all-in-one” from a fall color perspective. I feel like I should be called “Harley” when I wear this dress because of the Harlequin-like print:-)

But I digress! The dress captures different shades of purple and I love that you’ve even got olive green thrown in the mix. Talk about a potluck mashup of a dress with yummy fall colors! For today’s post, I paired it with two different pumps to show how easy it is to match different shoes & accessories given the multi-color print. The suede pumps are a great choice and so are the purple leather pumps. If you’ve been following along these last few weeks, you’ll know I belt pretty much everything:) This dress was no exception. Chose a suede belt with a different shade of purple for some contrast.

To finish the look for a breezy fall day, I simply added a beige moto jacket for an “edgy meets feminine” look. A nice cape would look great and play up the feminine allure of the dress.

You can actually pair the dress with a long skirt to wear the dress as a top. It would look great with a flared/voluminous skirt. Outfit details are below.
