Polka Dot Midi Dress=From 9 to Beyond

Polka Dot Midi Dress1

Hello beauties.  Polka dots are a fun retro print.  Very playful and they can be pulled off by anyone as long as you pick the right-sized dot for your shape.  Make sense? Experiment with small, medium, large-sized dots and see how the dots look against your body type.

You can wear this particular midi style to work with a little sweater + the sweater doesn’t have to be black! The sky is the limit so try a pop of color like a red sweater or even blue.  A nice fitted blazer would look great too.  For a more casual vibe, you can wear a t-shirt under the dress so it looks like a seamless/2-in-one dress.

Since fall is almost here, you could also try a fitted leather jacket or  a long sleeved top. A pair of ankle boots or booties would look lovely for fall.  So would a pair of pumps! Especially to play up the retro look.  I went with a pair of strappy red sandals and complementary belt because I was in a “matchy-matchy” mood.

Slip off the blazer/sweater/jacket and you’re ready for happy hour.  Add a brightly colored clutch and you’ve got a cute Sunday brunch outfit.  So what say you? Are you a fan or foe of polka dots?

Thanks for dropping by! Don’t be a stranger, xoxo.  Outfit details below.
