Peplum Midi Dress

Peplum dress 1Hello beauties.  What’s not to love about peplum? Not a rhetorical question, by the way:) If you have comments, do share, please.  Anyone can totally rock peplum…Peplum skirt, top, dress, whatever it is…It can be worn by anyone.  There are also lots of ways to style it so it’s a must-have in my closet.

This particular peplum midi dress is hands down, one of my favorite dresses as it packs a double punch=a midi length + peplum.  The peplum gives it that feminine touch and the fitted silhouette is fitted enough to be work & church-appropriate where you’re not causing too much of a distraction:)

The dress is black and white, though depending on how far/close, it comes across as more of a white dress.  I paired it with a black + silver belt, whose bow detail continues the feminine theme.  I then went with a pair of silver sling back pumps to give it some “oomph.”  I could have kept it basic and worn black heels but it’s fun to mix things up.  Metallics also make a good “neutral alternative” so it’s great to experiment with them.  If you read my “About” page, you’ll note that a mantra of mine is to “be adventurous!” So I try to play with fashion choices.  Let me know what you think: are you a fan or foe of peplum dresses? tops? anything peplum? Sound off in comments or on Facebook.

Thanks for dropping by! Don’t be a stranger, xoxo.  Outfit details below.
