Hello beauties.  Happy Friday!!!! We made it!!! TGIF!!! Every year, Pantone announces the color of the year.  And we start to see the colors everywhere, and I do mean everywhere!! They get incorporated into everything from furnishings to clothes, shoes and accessories etc.  This year, there are two colors instead of one: Rose Quartz and Serenity, which are pretty pastels.  Think feminine meets cool!  Love the soft, calming, relaxing  effect we get with the combo of these 2 colors so you should check them out.  You don’t have to wait until spring to rock them, ladies.  There’s no better time than the present!
Easy to Mix & Match
Look for more posts in the future featuring these 2 colors. Â They pair nicely with shades of green, brown, purple, yellow and even metallics and bright pops of color. Â Today’s post features some very easy styling options for you. Â And I mean it, these are very easy styling options you can try today!
Effortless Options for You to Try:
Look 1: Casual Friday
- I paired the blue sweater with white jeans (YES! white jeans. Â YES, after labor day. Â Don’t tell me you’re still wondering if that’s a faux pas?!) and ankle strap block heels.
- Completed the look with a thin belt and pink necklaces.
- Like I mentioned, these colors pair nicely with a LOT of colors. Â For example, could have gone with grey or silver shoes.
Look 2:Â Business Casual
- For more of a Monday-Thursday look, paired the blue sweater with a pink pencil skirt.
- Chose a thicker blush belt this time and opted for blue pumps.
- For a desk to dinner or cocktails scenario, a clutch is a nice touch.
- Other styling option=you can tuck in the sweater into the skirt or opt for a half-tuck…Tucked in front but hanging in back:-) That gives it a bit of an edge!
