Hello beauties. TGIF and Happy Friday to you!  I started the week with a day trip to New York for work and I feel like that set the tone for the week! Busy, busy, busy, go, go, go! Breathing a sigh of relief! Hope you had a good week and are ready for the weekend!

Today’s post features an easy, casual-chic fall outfit for occasions where you want to look effortlessly cute.  Think: family lunch or dinner at a restaurant, meeting a potential date for the first time in a coffee shop or grabbing coffee with your girls to going out to the movies, making a trip to your favorite bookstore or mall.  None of that?? Ok, kid’s soccer game or other activity you have to take the kids to. (Yes! Be THAT mom????)

On to business…I paired brown leggings with a striped oversized sweater and what I call the “star” of the ensemble: over the knee boots.  I know there are some of us who conjure up images of the lovely Julia Roberts in the hit movie Pretty Woman, when we hear “over the knee boots.”  Or better yet, maybe not Julia’s character but the type of lady she portrayed otherwise known as a woman of the night:)  Forget the negative stereotypes.  Over the knee boots are for good girls too lol

Love these boots because the color is as they say, “everything!” 🙂 It’s anything but dull and can give any outfit a pop.  Imagine black on black=black top, black bottoms (jeans, leggings) and then voila! The over the knee boots:-) Or picture a simple black above-the-knee shift dress and these boots.  Cute, right?
