Spring Trend: Pink for Play, Work or Church

Hello beauties.  Hope you’re having a great week.  We spent a good chunk of this past weekend interviewing nannies as ours quit the week before.  Via text, might I add lol Yes! She quit via text.  After showing up to late an hour work.  That’s another story.  Found someone else so it’s all good.

Anyhoo, ladies, there are so many spring trends you can choose from, I don’t care what you’re into! There’s no excuse, for real! Sooo if you don’t have shades of pink or blush in your closet, now’s your chance.  Pink is a hot color this spring and summer and I love it because it suits any complexion.  Light, dark, medium, in-between or not, pink can look on your, girl! Check out two easy ways to style a pink top like this cute pink one, courtesy of Shein.  It’s under 30 bucks and you’re killing two trends in one with the pink AND the ruffle sleeves. Check out pics below and shop the look as well.

Pretty in Pink: Casual Vibe

TIP: This skirt was an old denim maxi skirt, which I cut into an above-the-knee length.  I then washed it and pulled out the edges to create that frayed edge look. Voila! I have myself my very own distressed denim skirt.  You can definitely try it and do the same with old jeans! If you don’t want to invest in cropped jeans, find a pair of old jeans, cut those babies up and wash ’em.  You can either wear frayed or you can roll up.
