Hello beauties. I’m a fan of dresses! Especially dresses that are low maintenance=not requiring an iron:-) Today’s post features one. This look is easy to replicate if you have a short-sleeve or sleeveless sheath dress.
Of course, you can wear the dress as-is but to add a little more character, pair it with a tie neck blouse. This is what I did with the striped sheath dress in today’s post. The dress is busy enough as it is:-) Oh! Speaking of busy, how about when I wore it to work, one of my co-workers (shout out to Martin D.) goes “Nice dress. Reminds me of the barber shop.” Yeah, way to wipe a smile off a girl’s face, right! But I digress…Where was I…Yes, the dress has a lot going on with the diagonal, vertical and horizontal multi-color stripes.
To add some drama while still toning down the patterned sheath dress, I paired with a simple black tie neck blouse and completed the look with a black belt. This is “not boring” workwear. Also a great look for church. Just throw on a nice wool coat and you’re ready to brave the elements. More pics and outfit deets are below.
Thanks for dropping by! Don’t be a stranger, xoxo. p.s. when you get a sec, speaking of prints and how to tone down stylishly, check out sydneyfashionhunter.com. Love how she styled a pair of printed blue pants in the post I’m linking to.
