Hello beauties. Hope you’re having a great weekend! Ruffles are always in season and I for one am partial to a cute ruffle top because they are so feminine and add a lot of “oomph” to your entire look. In today’s post, I’m showing easy ways to style ruffle tops.
Paired with a Pencil Skirt
- You can tuck the ruffle top into the pencil skirt or leave out
- Belts are always a great way to add some structure
- Complete your look with mules, sandals or pumps

Paired with a Flared Skirt
- You can pair a ruffled top with a flared or circle skirt for a nice vintage vibe
- As usual, I belted to accentuate my waist
- Play around with color! Even if you’re not a bright and bold kinda girl, borrow a page from the book here where I paired the black & white polka dots with a black skirt then added a pop of color via cute powder blue pumps
- The color doesn’t have to be over the top! So if you’re not into bold, try shades of baby pink or soft blues
- If you want to push yourself, go bold with shades of yellow: bright lemon; mustard yellow; gold; lemon-lime.
- Of course, there’s also the best pop of color: red:-)

Paired with Jeans
- For a casual Friday or denim day at work or even a weekend outing, consider pairing a ruffle top with jeans
- In today’s post, I paired with skinny jeans, tucked out and belted
- Completed the look with nude pumps
- When you find the nirvana mix of ruffles, a tie/pussybow neck and prints, you don’t really need too much
- Though for some added flair, I did use a brooch
