Casual Spring Outfit Ideas

Hello beauties.  Happy Friday!! The girls were on Spring Break this week so we took a few days off and took them to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA.  The girls had a blast and so did I, to be honest! Taking a couple days off is always worth it even if it’s a staycation, you know!

Anyhoo, Spring break naturally had me thinking about you guessed: Spring! And Spring outfits! So today’s post features two very effortless Spring outfits you can pull off regardless of your body type! Check out deets and a family vacay pic from our mini Spring break getaway below.

Look 1:

  • Stripes or Cape:

Stripes are still in, they’re just thinner, ’tis all:-) You can’t tell but this caped top is part stripes, part white.

  • Distressed Jeans:

Fringed denim is all the rage but distressed is still cool too.  There are so many pairs at different price points not to mention various styles so you have no excuse! Depending on how edgy or laid back/more conservative you are, there’s a distressed style for you.

  • Yellow or Not-so-High Heels:

Yellow continues to be a hot color and I’m still here for it, y’all! For real.  The other trend I’m here for=not-sky-high heels.  Block heels, kitten heels, flat mules and loafers are all noticeable trends that mean good news because we don’t have to rock high heels all the time:-)

  • Statement Earrings:

I always say by far, one of the easiest ways to update your wardrobe is stocking up on accessories and jewelry! Statement earrings are having a moment and you can get affordable pairs if you want to get in on this, ladies.

Look 2:

  • Distressed Jeans again (Notice a pattern!)
  • A White Tee:

I got this White tee off of Amazon and by the way, it’s by Hanes.  Yeah lol so you can get white tees very easily and for less than 10 bucks!

  • Long Sleeveless Tunic (Perfect for layering)
  • Animal Print Ballet Flats
  • Chunky Necklace
  • Belt=Completely Optional!

Thanks so much for dropping by! Don’t be a stranger and make sure you drop by and say hello in the comments! Let me know which look you prefer: 1, 2 or none of the above??
