Hello beauties. I survived Monday! YEAH!!! I always feel like once I can get through Monday, there’s light:-) Do you feel the same way?
Anyway, I’m a sucker for feminine pieces like pussybow blouses aka tie neck blouses. Also love ruffle blouses and lace. There’s a certain feeling of satisfaction one gets from rocking a pretty blouse and a skirt or a pretty blouse with pants or even a suit. When you pair it with a suit, you’ve instantly elevated your look and transformed a boring old suit into not-so-boring workwear.
Case in point, I am really loving how Scandal’s Portia De Rossi’s fierce character: Elizabeth North; is being styled this season. She’s sporting a lot of pussybow blouses paired with pant suits. That pussybow blouse adds a dose of femininity to her usually strong, tough as nails, can hang with the boys, character.
For my look, I paired a paisley pussybow blouse with a high waisted skirt. Opted for patterned fishnet tights and a pair of burgundy pumps with the cutest kitten heel (seriously, these shoes are soooo comfy thanks to that kitten heel:) I show 2 ways of wearing the blouse:
- You can simply knot the tie once very loosely OR
- Tie into a bow

The great thing about this pussybow blouse is that you have tons of great pairing options! See board below for inspiration:
- For work: pair with a pencil skirt; flared midi skirt; a suit (skirt or pants); pants
- For play: pair with jeans (skinny or flared – you up the ’70s hip factor by pairing with flared jeans:) or a short button down A-line skirt and tall boots
