Hello beauties. So you’ve bought a shift dress from a favorite chain: The Limited; Zara; Banana Republic; The Gap; Old Navy; The Loft; J. Crew; Anthropologie; Ann Taylor; H&M; Target; Next; Express; Mango; Ashley Stewart; NY&Co.; Club Monaco; White House Black Market, Forever21…You get the picture. And you’re wondering how to give it an extra boost?
No worries! Here are 3 quick hacks that you can try, to instantly elevate your look. I Styled a floral print shift dress from the Limited, to illustrate:
- This lovely dress came with it’s own belt but I substituted the skinny plum belt with a gold one;
- Given fall’s on the brain, opted for a pair of Aubergine (think fancy name for plum/eggplant/dark purple) ankle boots;
- Completed the look with a layered gold necklace.
I also show how you can easily transition to fall by adding a long open front sweater.
Would love to hear from you! What are some of your shift dress styling tips?
Thanks for dropping by! Don’t be a stranger, xoxo. More pictures + outfit details=below.
