1 Sleeveless Sweater, 2 looks

Hello beauties. Today’s outfit is the perfect transitioning outfit. Transitioning=from summer to fall and from the office to happy hour. It’s what I call a “3-piece combo.”

The star of the outfit is this lovely striped sleeveless sweater from The Limited. Sleeveless sweaters, vests, jackets and coats are a fall must-have so if you’re looking for one to round out your fall staples, look no further. I love sleeveless sweaters in general, because they make a good cornerstone layering item! You can build your layers around a good sleeveless sweater.

Look #1: For the first of 2 looks I showed today, I paired the sleeveless sweater with a black sleeveless jumper dress and a blue feminine blouse. I completed the look with items you can find in your wardrobe/easily substitute:

A brown bucket bag;
Taupe peep-toe booties;
A gold belt; and
A reddish necklace for a pop of color.

When the weather gets much cooler, you can warm those legs with a pair of tights. For some edge, try a patterned pair and for a more subtle look, try a plain-colored pair. If you’re going for an “almost-edgy” look, try a plain-colored colorful pair of tights such as cobalt blue to play off the blue blouse. The heels can be replaced with pumps if you want some toe coverage.

Look #2: For a more casual look, simply replace the dress with a pair of slightly flared jeans. Swapping the dress with jeans creates a chic casual-Friday look, which can easily take you from the office to happy hour or even date night. If you’re somewhere cozy, you can lose the sweater. Either way, you’ve got a cute, effortless outfit!
