It's PSL season again and a lot of us love this seasonal treat but not the calories!

Well here's an easy healthy homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe you can try at home!

1/2 cup - 1 cup  of coffee or 1/4 cup of espresso

1 1/2 cups of 2% reduced fat milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons pumpkin butter

INGREDIENTS

Optional Ingredient: Fat-free whipped cream for topping

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 - 2 teaspoons sugar or sugar substitute

brew a pot of strong coffee

Pour 1 1/2 cups of milk into a pan or pot

add 2 tablespoons of pumpkin butter

then add 1 or 2 teaspoons of sugar or sugar substitute

heat up the stove, stir milk mixture and cook to boiling point

remove from stove, add 2 teaspoons of vanilla and whisk or blend until smooth

pour evenly into two mugs then add coffee or espresso

froth the latte with a hand-held milk frother

add a dash of pumpkin pie spice and enjoy!
